This type of special service requires high quality and thoroughness. Professional competence, personal qualities, attitudes and etiquette are crucial for security guards in the performance of this service. OSEC has a very high standard of service and requires the operator to also master work tools such as:

A modern personal security guard / companion is a security specialist. Intellect and versatility are the foremost tool. The operator must be optimally up to date on everything within the security subject.
OSEC performs personnel selection based on personal characteristics, adaptability and discretion. In order to be effective as a personal security guard, one must have the knowledge and ability to handle any environment clients travel in.
The job as a personal security guard involves a great responsibility in preventing damage to the client, as well as performing tasks gently for the personal environment of the client.
In OSEC, every effort is made to identify various types of threats that the client is proactively protected against:
Intentional damage - the physical threat
Accidental injuries - accidents
Embarrassing situations
OSEC provides services to business, the public sector and to private individuals.
OSEC undertakes assignments for shorter and longer periods. Vehicles used satisfy the requirements and driving characteristics of the individual assignment.
OSEC tailors various personal security assignments for clients, whether it is VIP transport, debugging of office / meeting rooms, information gathering or other personal security.
Personal protection is performed in accordance with Norwegian legislation and in collaboration with the police and / or other relevant bodies. OSEC reserves the right to background check the client / client before entering into a contract.

OSEC selects security guard personnel based on personal characteristics, adaptability, discretion and customer preferences. In order to perform a good and efficient service for our customers, the guards must have good knowledge and skills in customer treatment, conflict management and service, as well as the security itself.
The job as a security guard involves a great deal of responsibility towards the customer. The security guard must protect people, property, values and interests, as well as prevent unwanted incidents so that we avoid physical threats.
In OSEC, we work to the greatest possible extent with a preventive and proactive character.

Our security services are performed in accordance with Norwegian legislation and in collaboration with the police and / or other relevant bodies. OSEC reserves the right to conduct a customer background check prior to entering into a contract.
OSEC conducts a number of security courses and trainings. Our courses have a high professional quality and standard, performed by instructors with long, broad education and experience in the various courses and subjects taught.
OSEC has state-of-the-art teaching facilities, facilities and materials and performs all disciplines in one and the same location. Our education is located in a larger security center with its own fire site, UV building, separate first aid room, canteen and classrooms / lecture halls. These are excellent facilities for both classroom teaching, practical and live exercises / case training.
OSEC offers the following courses:
Security Guard course
Nationally approved course according to the police directorate´s requirements and guidelines. The course has three parts; part one is online teaching of about 47 hours (1 hour = 7-15 min online study), part two is classroom teaching of 65 hours and part three is practical teaching part of 45 hours. A total of 112 hours.
The course has two exams that must be passed to be approved weights, an online theory exam and a practical exam.
Personal protection / Security escort course
Nationally approved course according to the police directorate´s requirements and guidelines. The course is a total of 76 hours divided into classroom and practice.
The course has two exams that must be passed to be approved as a bodyguard, an online theory exam and a practical exam.
Conflict Management Course
This is a course based on a theory part and a practice part. The theoretical part is about tactical communication, active listening, body language, assessing threats and legal background for the application of physical conflict management. The physical part of the course is based on a system of selected techniques aimed at security services. All techniques are based on tactical, medical and legal use. The duration of the course is 18 hours and no exam. There is a compulsory attendance and requirements for active participation.
Self-defense course
This is a course based on only a small part of theory, and most of it practice. The theoretical part is to assess the threat and legal background for the use of self-defense. Techniques in the course are based on a system of selected techniques aimed at jobs in security services. All techniques are based on tactical, medical and legal use. The duration of the course is 15 hours and no exam. There is a compulsory attendance and requirements for active participation.
Handcuffs course
This is a tactical use of handcuffed courses in a set of operational techniques based on tactical, medical and legal use. The techniques in the course are aimed at security services. The course lasts 6 hours, no exam. There is a compulsory attendance and requirements for active participation during the course.
Vulnerability, Threat, and Risk Management Course
This is a course where we go through assessing, managing and analyzing vulnerability, threat and risk in relation to assignments, customers and situations.
The course is based on classroom teaching and case assignments.
The course is 15 hours and has no exam. It is mandatory attendance and requirements to be active during case assignments.
Other courses
We also offer tactical leadership courses for security personnel, body language, law enforcement courses and more. And that we also tailor courses according to customers´ wishes.
